1. I think the end was very uncool. The reason I think that is because it just leaves you hanging thinking, "what"? I also think that she should have continued it so you could see Ko's reaction to finally seeing her big brother after so long. I also wanted to see how hideyo took it that their mother was dead.I think that she ended the book right their for a couple of reasons. One of the reasons I think is because she thought it was too hard for her to explain how Hideyo took it that his mother had died.
2.I think they still use some of the traditions for a couple reasons.I think that they still use certain traditions because some of them make life more bearable and easy. also I think they are trying to act a bit normal and shroud the fact that they are barely able to live.
3.I think Mr.Niade is the coolest. The reason i think he's the coolest is because he has the ability to not listen to what other people say about him. I also respect that he keeps his ground when people are mean to him because of his stuttering. The reason i think he's the coolest for is because he can still live his life with the stuttering and be freinds with someone even though he has a stuttering problem and thats wy i think he's the coolest.
4.I learned during the book how the Japanese were really treated in korea after the war. The most important thing I have learned is that no matter how bad things seem for you, you will never ever have it as bad as yoko did.
5.I learned that people can really be carles. I also learned that every person will have to go though somthing bad in their life like when a parent dies or somthing like that.

They also want to leave because of all the woman that have been raped and dragged into the fields.2.I don't think that they should have left him behind because what if he shows up?. 1. I think Hideo is cunning and brave. I think this because he was able to trick the solders that he was dead. I think that he's brave because he's traveling alone along a path hoping to meet his family. Hideo is also like a role model to his siblings because he's always trying to protect them from harm and now Ko is doing the same thing.2. I would take a knife in case i need to cut something or open a can. I would also bring a dagger, for self protection and to cut through weeds or other obstacles. I would also bring some food, like fruit and vegetables. I would bring some photos in case my home is destroyed i wouldn't lose everything. A mirror so i could use this as a distraction to get away from danger or as a last resort a weapon. I would also bring family heirlooms so my family's history wouldn't be lost. Clothes and a blanket. Clothes so i wouldn't have to wear the same clothes everyday. Blankets so that at night i wouldn't be cold. Money in case i need to but food. An emergency kit containing alcohol, bandages etc. I would bring some string so i could make different things like a fishing pole or as a little rope.3.The most shocking part was the part when hideo found his Korean neighbors dead. I thought this part was shocking because i though, sure i know why they hat Japanese, but to kill their own kind? That's just isn't right. Not that I'm saying killing is right either.

the part of this secton had kind of suprized me becaues after boba fett had made the bounty the guy that had made the bounty with babo fett stated takeing about boba Fetts father Java fett. becuaes of the bountys money the guy that made the bounty to babo fett he stated taking about the money that java fett had made in the past wich was the same amont that he is ofering boba fett. boba fett got so mad that he had got his wepen and shot both of his robots at that time the person got scard but he still taked about that same subject.

the thing that had suprised me the most in the book im reading is that. Boba fett had made a bounty but he had aceped it becaues he only dose bountys for over 4 million but this time hes doing it for 1 million. Thats the part that had suprised me the most.

2. A passage that stood out to me was : "yes, you all would have made good nazis,"ben told them. "you would have put on your uniforms, turned you heads, and allow your friends and neighbors to be persecuted and destroyed." I chose this sentence beacuse it showed that how much a little thing like a club can turn into a big club of chaos and racism. I also chose it because it shows that they were starting to act like the Nazi. They were thinking of mr.ross, a tthing he never dared imagine, they thought of him as hitler. As a leader who would bring equalioty above everything. Yet they themselves did the oppisite of what the club,the wave was started for. the purpose of the wave was to learn not to join it and make the wave the terror of the school.

1) I think hes feeling unsecure because there is a high risk that he might get in trouble. He feels wired since robert asked to be his bodygaurd. He also feels upset that Laurie not only not joined the wave but now is attacking it socially. By putting out copies of the grapevine that work against the wave to shut it down. Also all those parents that are complaining to principle owens.

2) On pg. 95 , Laurie stopped and saw brad coming toward her. " Oh, hi, laurie I didn't reconize you from behind," he said. Then he did the wave salute. Laurie just stood there with out moving. Brad frowned. " Come on Laurie just give me the salute and you can go up". I think this is going to far with the wave because you should be able to go up in the stands without doing a salute.

3) Do you think laurie will suceed to take down the wave through the grapevine and why?

1. some of the clues were wen he said that he wanted to let the student feel how it felt to follow a leader. Another clue was when lairies mom already started to question this project.

2.My favorite sentence was: ' You don't have to worry about how popular You are. We're all equal. we're all part of the same community. I liked this passage because it really shows that now istead of the students worrying on thier social life they'll now worry about school and grades. Also now that they are all equals they will really start to support eachother.

3. My question was,Do you think that the pep rally will get more members for the school or that hardly anyone will join?

1.One clue of the students already useing the motto outside class is for example, when the students went to football practice David said they never won a game because the were always fighting.



2. a short passage that stood out to me was: 'For Ben, what happened the next day was extremely unussual. Instead of his students straggling into class after the bell had rung, it was he who was late.' This passage stood out for me because it seemed preety funny that instead of his student being late it was him who was late.

3. A question i had was, Do you think that the students are taking this too seriously? Or would you have done the same in their place?

1.the satest part of the story betty ann was like my frend said "some mistakes can't be erased. No matter how old or young we are." and i think thats a very good pint becauese like if you stell and you get cot its in bresing and when your older your going have to live with that for the rest of you life and its disopinting what youe'v done.that was my anser and it is a sad sentence.

the story was so cool i wish i could rade it all but i dont now how to.but the sentence i loved was in the end it was the funest book i'v ever herd of.i hop i koud her more but i kint.

The book is small steps we had read it in class every day it was relay cool because mr.Talner
it toke a long time to finish it but it was fun because its a continues book because the other book
is coled holes and that was one of the best books i have read but not the best book i read so fare
so how is reading this i suchisd this book its wonderful.
